At Darkness Brewing, we love our community! Historic Bellevue, with all the cute shops and wonderful people-we are honored to be a part of it! We brew delicious craft beer for every taste — from hop-forward IPAs to rich stouts and bright, sessionable ales — so everyone can find a beer that feels like home. Our Darkness Diner food truck turns out comforting, craveable dishes that pair perfectly with a pint. We host fun, inclusive events that bring people together — trivia nights, live music, open mic, and seasonal celebrations and artisan markets — all designed to make good times and great memories.

Ten rotating taps—always changing and always diverse in beer styles. We guarantee you’ll find something you like, and maybe even find a new beer style to love!

Check our social media stories for the latest pours. We also offer wine, cider, canned spirits, and two rotating boozy slushies. For nonalcoholic options, choose from n/a beer and cider plus a selection of sodas.

We also have growlers and howlers to take your favorite beer home with you! Our bottle selection rotates seasonally, so stop in for the latest selection.

Meet the Team

  • Eric Bosler

    COFOUNDER/OWNER/HEAD BREWER

    Eric has spent most of his adult life in the bar and restaurant industry. So when he and his friend Ron(our Co-Founder) started homebrewing, they decided to open up a brewery in the neighborhood! He also has a horticulture degree, so you can thank him for all the wonderful plants around Darkness! Eric loves to create unique beer styles, and our Bellevue (KY) Common is one of his first creations as a homebrewer, and it has definitely become a town favorite!

  • Ron Sanders

    CO-FOUNDER

    In the beginning, it was just Ron and Eric brewing beer for fun in Eric’s kitchen. These days, you’re likely to find Ron in a more operational role, building furry walls, or playing guitar on the Darkness stage. When he’s not making music, Ron enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Amanda (Bartender/Yoga), his children—Ray, Bailee, and Gage (Bartender)—along with his grandbabies and furbabies.

  • Louisa Bosler

    SALES/MARKETING/EVENTS

    Eric’s wife, Lou, has also spent most of her adult life in the service industry. She is a licensed cosmetologist and veterinary technician, but at Darkness, you will find her behind the bar or working on the behind-the-scenes stuff, such as events, merch, and getting our beer in local bars and restaurants. At home you will find her and Eric snuggling their three cats or fostering kittens in their spare time.

  • Amanda Sanders

    BARTENDER/YOGA

    Amanda leads our Getting Bent yoga on Sundays and is also a Reiki master and licensed cosmetologist. She loves spending time with her husband Ron (our Co-Founder) and their furbabies, kids, and grandkids. In her downtime, she enjoys spending time in nature, playing music, and creating art.

  • Gage Sanders

    BARTENDER

    Gage is a laid-back kinda fella and is our go-to trivia bartender on Tuesday. He’s definitely a night owl, and in his free time enjoys hanging out with his friends, family and pets!

  • Kirstie Storer

    SOCIAL MEDIA/BARTENDER

    Kirstie is the queen of tie-dye! She is quite the creative soul, and when she’s not bartending or working on our social media, you can find her hanging out with friends or her sweetheart, Ryan, and their rescue pup, Squirrel!

    Jesse has been with us from day one and is that wonderful familiar face on Saturday afternoons. He also leads the Tuesday Trivia with his wife Merry. In his free time you will find him hanging out with family and lovin on those grandkids or playing music with friends.

  • Jenny Charlton

    BARTENDER

    Newly a member of the Darkness Family, it feels like she’s been here for years. She is our Sunday Funday bartender and in her spare time she loves to stay socially active and love on her sweet kitties or play music! She’s all about that bass!

  • Jay Freeman

    BREWER

    Jay and Eric met while working at Virgils Cafe waaaay back before brewing beer was a thing. A long time chef, Jay was our OG on the food truck when we first opened it in 2019, but made the transition to making beer and he loves it! Jay loves to read books and chill and is soon to be wed to his fiance, Andrea!

    FOOD TRUCK

    Terry is the main man responsible for the good eats around here! He has been in the food service industry for years and even runs his own car detailing business! In his spare time, he likes to chill and hang out with his family.
